Andrea Hoff is the Owner & President of You Thrive Training & Consulting, LLC, a company that provides training and consulting services in the areas of behavioral health prevention, nonprofit leadership, and fundraising. Andrea has worked in the behavioral health field for almost 27 years, is certified in Ohio as a behavioral health prevention consultant (OCPC) and international behavioral health prevention specialist (ICPS) and is a certified Adult & Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Instructor, and Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) Instructor. She is a coach for the Ohio Coaching and Mentoring (OCAM) Network, and she uses the Gallup CliftonStrengths assessments in her coaching work. Andrea is also a certified grants professional (GPC) with extensive experience in fundraising. She is the Immediate Past President of the Miami Valley, Ohio, Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA), is an approved GPA speaker, and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Throughout her career, Andrea has raised almost $41.8 million in grant funding for a variety of different nonprofit and public organizations. She graduated summa cum laude with her Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Dayton.
Ashley Mack specializes in project design and evaluation, program management, and behavioral health prevention and early intervention. Ashley has worked in the Public and Nonprofit sectors for over 14 years, with specific expertise in youth-led prevention, coalition building, and building prevention infrastructure within communities. She is currently an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant and is a certified Adult & Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Instructor, PAX Tools Instructor, and Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) Instructor. Ashley graduated from Wright State University with a B.A. in Urban Affairs and Nonprofit Management and a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
John Hoff oversees Business Operations and Research and Development at You Thrive Training & Consulting, LLC. John has worked in the public sector for over 10 years, with expertise in Project Management, Business Operations, Data Research & Analysis, and Quality Assurance. John graduated from Wright State University with a B.A. in Urban Affairs and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton. Since joining You Thrive, John has expanded his skills to include Behavioral Health Certification Assistance, and Nonprofit Workforce Development. John is also a classically trained musician, and a former member of the United States Air Force Band of Flight, at Wright Patterson AFB.
Deborah Combs is an experienced grant researcher and proposal writer whose work has won over $20 million in awards for nonprofit organizations in regions throughout southwest Ohio. In addition to two decades as a grant professional, she has ten years of experience as a composition instructor and English literature lecturer for Dayton-area colleges and universities, and she is also an experienced technical writer. She is a founding member and past president of the Grant Professionals Association’s Miami Valley Chapter (GPA MV) and a Grant Professional Certified (GPC) from 2009-2016. She holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Dayton with Minors in Communication Arts and Education. She brings her broad base of experience to You Thrive to produce winning proposals to private, community, and corporate foundations and county, state, and federal funding opportunities.
Kim Linkel specializes in coalition development, program management, and substance abuse prevention and early intervention. Kim has worked in the Public and Nonprofit sectors for over 23 years, with specific expertise in coalition building, community engagement, and youth-led prevention. She is a Certified Prevention Specialist, a Certified Grant Professional (GPC) and has completed CADCA’s Training of Trainer process. Kim graduated from Franklin College with a B.A. in Recreation Administration and a Master’s degree from Saint Mary of the Woods College in Leadership Development.
Amy Hamilton has worked in the non-profit and government sectors for over 16 years, with specific expertise in volunteer management, training, curriculum development, program management, and coalition development. Amy is a certified Adult & Youth Mental Health First Aid, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper, PAX Tools, Trauma Informed Care, and Social Resilience Model instructor and has developed local and state-wide trainings on topics furthering organizational understanding and utilization of diversity, equity, and inclusion theories. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a minor in Gender and Diversity Studies from Xavier University. Amy also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Dayton with a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Certificate in Nonprofit and Community Leadership.
